I am a very passionate Maths teacher who graduated as an Electrical and Electronic Engineer. I still peruse that as a hobby. I love playing sports especially Cricket, snooker, table tennis and Badminton. I grew up in the NW10 area and went to local schools and understand the cultural makeup and demographics of the area well.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching in secondary School for six years in the local area, private tuition for 10 years with my students gaining 2-3 grades higher than predicted.

Tutoring Approach

I try teaching various methods and allow the student to choose their preferred method.
I would use diagrams as well as model the questions step by step, and allowing students to have the courage to ask questions where they get lost.
I try to link their prior knowledge to the topic in hand and explain the reasoning behind the knowledge.
Exam practice is key to success, understanding the wording and style of the examiner for your respective board.
I have visual methods and use software to track progress.
