I am currently an A Level Drama and Theatre Examiner and Moderator and have recently been a Project Director at LAMDA, training actors in New Work and Devising.
I was a Senior Lecturer and Drama Subject Leader for PGCE teachers at University for 8 years. I trained teachers in Drama and worked with many other subjects, including English.

I am an extremely approachable Drama and Performing Arts professional who has worked with many theatre companies in a variety of contexts. I have extensive experience in Directing and workshop leading and have worked with Shared Experience, Frantic Assembly and Improbable Theatre on education projects. I have Directed my own work at The Roundhouse and the Croydon Clocktower. I also have experience of coaching students for entry to Drama School or University for interviews and auditions.

Tutoring Experience

I am fully qualified teacher with a PGCE for 11-19 year olds. I taught in Schools and Colleges for 18 years and Managed Performing Arts and Drama departments for 8 of those years. I have taught and Managed A Level Drama, BTEC Level 2 & 3 Performing Arts courses and GCSE Drama during my career. I have been a Team Leader (I Managed 6 Examiners) for A Level Drama for the practical units and was a Standards Verifier and Grade Reviewer for BTEC courses. I have also lead online training for teachers for the new BTEC courses and training events for Creative Education and Subject Support.

Tutoring Approach

I am a very creative and imaginative teacher who has extremely high standards. I am relaxed and approachable and can tailor my teaching methods to suit the individual needs of the learner. I enjoy teaching young people and watching them develop their skills and knowledge to enhance their achievement.
