Waseema

I am a qualified (with QTS from DfE) and Ofsteded Maths teacher, currently working part-time in London.

I am available to tutor Ks1-GCSE Higher Mathematics, and GCSE, A-Level Urdu. I specialise in creative writing and am trained in teaching bilingual pupils. I have long-term experience of working abroad as well as in the UK. Some of my Maths students have attained A* progressing from Foundation level.

Tutoring Experience

I teach in line with the National Curriculum Statutory requirements, focusing on the learning objectives and the removal of learning gaps to accelerate progress. I provide detailed explanations using visual resources and exam questions for practice.

Tutoring Approach

I structure lessons targeting pupil needs, with on-going assessment and feedback. I engage pupils through discussion, keeping them focused by checking on their understanding of the work being shown.
