My name is Raya. I am a fully qualified teacher. I am currently teaching Computing in a Further Education college. I tutor adults who want to learn basic computing and become more confident at using certain software. I have also provided private tuition to students studying BTEC Nationals in Information Technology.

Tutoring Experience

I have 17 years of teaching experience. I have a strong background in relational database design and spreadsheet software. I am familiar with a wide range of awarding organisations including BTEC, OCR and Laser.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach starts with an initial diagnosis of my learner’s needs. I then plan lessons that target those particular needs. I am flexible in the delivery of my teaching. So whether you want to become more confident at using a computer, learn new software or need extra tuition to pass your coursework I am more than happy to assist you.
