Completed Masters degree in Chemical engineering at University of Sheffield. An enthusiastic and motivated person who has extensive maths and science knowledge.
Having been in through education myself I am well aware of the different approaches and styles of teaching an individual may need in order to reach their full potential. I love teaching knowledge I have to others and believe my great sense of communication helps support this.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in a one to one environment since Jan 2016 where I helped teach non-English speaking residents both English and maths in the community centre.
Furthermore, having younger siblings I have always been a support in their education, where I would teach and help them with their school work from an early age. This constant exposure has really allowed me to sustain a good understanding of how best to teach and show children different methods of work.
Have tutored two students via FirstTutors and gained highly positive feedback from both parties (see ratings).

Tutoring Approach

I have a very enthusiastic approach to teaching. Teaching in a positive environment with a well organised foundation really helps a student to retain information. With student I like to make sure a plan of action is determined so that we can meet our aims throughout the period of time. Lesson objectives at the beginning of each session and lessons summaries at the end further make sure that students leave satisfied with what they needed help with.
