I have been a Secondary School Maths teacher for 13 years. I offer Maths Tuition across KS3 and KS4 ages 11-16. I am a graduate from The University of Manchester and possess a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Secondary Maths and have Qualified Teacher Status. I also hold an enhanced DBS.

Tutoring Experience

I have considerable experience in preparing students to sit their GCSE Maths exam both at Foundation and Higher level, offering expert knowledge of the 9-1 GCSE Specification and assessment. I can advise on areas where common misconceptions occur, show you alternative methods that can be used to work out maths problems and advise how to maximise your marks when completing papers.

Tutoring Approach

I will establish early on your individual proficiency in order that you are educated at a suitable and adapted pace. I believe that every student has individual needs and believe passionately in teaching at a level that meets those needs. I always aim to teach topics from basics and quickly modify learning to suit individual competence.
