I am a medical writer, excellent at juggling multiple tasks and working under pressure. Focused on developing and progressing further, through consistent hard-work, passion and determination to succeed. I am always looking to exceed my personal quality targets and goals to become competent and successful in the roles I carry out. Naturally, I am a confident, friendly and helpful person who is always willing to help others and excel in all my duties.

Tutoring Experience

With my background in biology and specialism in cardiovascular research at Kings College London, passion for writing, and great knowledge of medical terminologies, I can bring forward all my skills and apply them when teaching students. I have had a range of work experiences from working in care, schools, laboratories, hospitals and medical research. I was awarded by the Royal Society of Biology to perform scientific procedures under the Animals Scientific Procedures Act 1986, on a study that aimed to test the efficacy of the NRF2 activator, SFN, in a mouse model of adverse pregnancy. As a medical writer I have utilised exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills to produce engaging, error-free content. Employed task prioritisation and time management skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously, submitting deliverables within agreed timeframes.

Tutoring Approach

My passion for writing and great knowledge of medical terminologies allows me to be competent with my teaching approach. I am greatly experienced in using general laboratory techniques such as protein expression by western blot, PCR and gel electrophoresis. Moving forward, I want to be able to spread my knowledge and experiences to aspiring students.
