I am offering maths tuition to KS3 and GCSE students. I am available for tutoring online or in person. I am a secondary mathematics teacher, currently teaching maths full time in a secondary school in Jersey, Channel islands. I have a secondary mathematics PGCE qualification, and a 2:1 Mathematics degree from Newcastle University, graduating in June 2010. I also gained an A in A-level maths and an A* at GCSE level.
I have experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students and guiding them with their revision for exams. I have experience tutoring at KS3 level providing support for students alongside their classroom based learning. Helping to improve confidence and mathematical thinking whilst helping students to enjoy maths.
I have current experience teaching 11-18 year olds, teaching years 7 through to 11 in my current school. I have been teaching maths in secondary for 5 years.
I can help students with additional lessons on what they are learning in school, homework or exam preparation.
I am a friendly, patient and motivated teacher. I have great determination and my goal is to help the student achieve the grade they are hoping for whilst enjoying maths.
