My name is Vickie Owens. I am 34 years old. I am originally from West Wales but I am now based in West Sussex.
Tutoring Experience
I have been teaching for 11 years: 6 years in mainstream and 5 years in schools for children with Emotional, Behaviours Disorders, Autism, Asperger's, ADHD and Dyslexia. I have also been a private tutor for 6 years. In schools my subject specialisms are Food and Nutrition and Science. I have experience tutoring KS3 and GCSE English, Science, Food preparation and Nutrition, Wellbeing and Maths.
Tutoring Approach
I have a firm but fair teaching approach. I think it is very important to make an individual learning plan for each learner. I believe each lesson needs to be catered to the individuals needs.
