I have (well!) over a decade's teaching experience in primary schools (from reception to Year 6) and I currently work in a complex needs school teaching students from 15-19. I am mum to two daughters and love spending time with them. I also enjoy running, Zumba and trying to keep fit!
Tutoring Experience
I set up Blossom Tuition to offer private tuition to local pupils from my home in summer 2018. Currently, I tutor online only, and I do so part time alongside my current teaching job.
Tutoring Approach
Usually, I tutor from my home and tailor each lesson to the individual's needs. However, at present, I am tutoring online only. I offer a free initial consultation, which lasts half an hour. I provide brief feedback to parents after each lesson via email. I always aim to incorporate a range of strategies and try to make learning as fun and meaningful as possible.
