We sought Vannessa's assistance within a short time frame as my daughter,was preparing to take her German GCSE in Year 10. Although my daughter speaks German due to her Austrian heritage, she needed focused tuition to enhance her grammar and vocabulary skills.

From the outset, Vannessa made a significant impact. She took the time to understand how my daughter processes information and carefully identified her learning gaps. Vannessa’s approach was thoughtful and considerate; she ensured that my daughter was not overwhelmed with too much homework, which made the learning process more enjoyable and effective.

My daughter took to Vannessa immediately and found the lessons engaging and productive. She often remarked on how quickly the hour flew by during their sessions. Vanessa is teaching my daughter who is in year 7 with the aim to take the gcse in year 9. Elli speaks German already at home but needs support with grammar, spelling and vocabulary. Vanessa is a native German speaker which is great and has taken already several bilingual children towards the gcse. So she understands the exam and what is required. Vanessa is a great teacher and has a really nice way to make the lesson interesting and fun.

A Great tutor, Vannessa is very friendly, helpful and understanding. For someone like myself who has found language's hard this includes my native tongue, it has been good so far. There has been no rushing and even if we do not get through all of the set lesson we pick up the next time. Do not feel i have say i understand or get it even if i am not sure then we go over it and take the time required. Thank you.

My son is waiting for every session with Vannessa. She is very friendly person who knows how to make every session exciting. Good timekeeping also, as before my sons tutor used to cancel lessons. My son is struggling with math and Vannessa kindly helping him to catch up with both - English and math. Strongly recommend her.

We can't recommend Vanessa highly enough. She has been a valuable resource for our two girls, teaching English to our 11 year old an German to our 14 year old. She is always prompt, well prepared and friendly - the girls really look foward to her visit every week.

Vanessa is an excellent teacher and immediately struck up an excellent relationship with my daughter. She is totally reliable and conscientious and always comes well prepared for lessons. My son (15 year old, GCSE German) has only had two sessions with Vannessa to date and so we can't comment on outcomes, but she has so far proven to be very professional, mature for her young age and has gone that extra mile to help him achieve his goals. 110% so far! :) very happy with my choice of tutor.
