I am an experienced maths tutor based in NW London, I teach up to A-level including further maths. I also have a background competing in maths challenges and am able to tutor and prepare students for their competitions up to UKMT SMC level or equivalent. I offer both online and in-person lessons in NW3/5 (with additional fee for travel cost). Small group sessions of up to 3 students can also be arranged upon request. First 2 lessons will be at a very discounted price

Tutoring Experience

I completed my PGCE at Oxford University, and have been teaching in mainstream secondary schools in both Oxfordshire and inner London for 4 years. I have a background competing in maths challenges and am able to tutor and prepare students for their competitions up to UKMT SMC level or equivalent. I am also leading the Level 2 Further Maths course at my current school. Meanwhile I have tutored students, whom have all finished their A-levels this summer, across various exam boards including AQA, Edexcel and IB.

Tutoring Approach

I approach each lesson based on the individual needs of my students, as I believe every person thinks and process information differently. My lessons are tailored to each student, based on what I pick up to be their weaknesses or strengths during lesson. I also believe that practices and repetitions are an essential part of making progress in maths, therefore homework and independent exercise will be set after every session, especially for those who wishes to improve for their exams. I can adapt to both high attainers who wish to challenge themselves, or middle to foundation learners who wish to consolidate their foundation.
