I am a patient and relaxed tutor with a good understanding of the skills required to attain a good grade in GCSE English Lang/Lit. I have grown-up children and enjoy theatre & travel.
I have many years of tutoring experience, both face-to-face and online, helping students with GCSEs. I can also offer experience of helping my own children with their English GCSEs.
I feel it is very important to be clear about the goals of the tuition and the needs of the student. Enthusiastic and patient, I enjoy discussing and analyzing texts and helping students to enjoy the writing as opposed to seeing it as boring or irrelevant. In addition, I believe instilling confidence in the student is very important.
