Tom

My name is Tom Removed and I've been teaching for nearly 15 years. I'm from Birmingham in the Midlands. I love to travel and have lived overseas several times. I'm looking to help students improve their grades in science and build their confidence, and hopefully encourage more people to take Science subjects at University.

Tutoring Experience

I've been teaching Science for nearly 15 years at a variety of schools in the UK and overseas. I have taught all sciences from KS3-KS4 throughout my time, and have experience of teaching A-level Biology and Chemistry, along with IB Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics. In my time I have also tutored more than a dozen students, all of whom gained higher grades after a number of sessions, but more importantly, had gained more confidence in the subject!

Tutoring Approach

I try a variety of approaches with students to try to identify the best way to support their learning. I provide a number of resources tailored to their specific needs and provide additional learning tools and platforms to extend and consolidate their learning.
