Tiyisani

Hello, I am Tiyisani or Tis; I graduated with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with Composites Materials from Plymouth University. I am currently working as an Engineering Teacher in Dagenham London. I enjoy helping people through maths and physics. I have tutored many students through GCSE/BTEC in maths, physics, electrical & electronics principles, and engineering materials privately during my studies. I have always enjoyed seeing maths and physics come to life through real-world problems or models.

Tutoring Experience

I have been working as an Engineering teacher for the last three years. I have learned so much more and have been working on teaching young people about the limitless world of Engineering, and this is something I take great reward and pride in. I continuously seek ways to improve life opportunities for young people who desire STEM. Despite one's economic and social background, all pupils should have access to great teachers and educational opportunities, which lead to successful lives in our ever-changing world.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is simple. Every individual is different, and I teach lessons which are specifically tailored to my students. Their ability will inform the way I deliver. How my questions are structured is informed by that ability and where they are in their development of mathematical thinking.
