I know first hand the fear and struggle that learning Maths can induce - during my Masters in Neuroimaging I had to learn very high level Maths after only studying up to GCSE in the past. Surprisingly, I found learning Maths at this level much easier than at school because of how meaningful the Maths was in the context of Neuroimaging. I bring a growth mindset approach to maths tutoring and help students to contextualise and visualise maths to make it much easier to learn.

I have a decade of music tutoring experience and am now switching to Maths. I'm excited to support students through GCSE maths, whether aiming to pass or for high grades.

Tutoring Approach

Many teachers believe that some students can't succeed in Maths. The evidence shows us that this is incorrect and, with the right approach, even high level Maths concepts can be accessible to almost all students.

As a Psychologist, I take an evidence based approach to teaching Maths:
