I have undertaken extensive study and research in the area of Psychology and I am confident that my experience and creative drive make me well-suited for this role. With my current responsibilities, I am accustomed to taking on multiple roles, much like a stage performer, therapist, and business negotiator, all within a single day. Given my background as a lecturer, background extra, and production researcher, I believe I possess the necessary skills to meet the expectations of this role.

For the last seven years, I have had the wonderful experience of teaching undergraduate students. I have taught courses spanning all three levels of undergraduate courses. I have experience lecturing on Forensic Psychology, Criminology, Research Methods (Quantitative and Qualitative), SPSS, and Applied Psychology Foundation courses. In my recent role. I was a module leader for a second-year undergraduate Forensic Psychology and Criminology module and Criminological Perspective module. I also have experience supervising third-year undergraduate and postgraduate dissertation projects.
My teaching approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, reflected in the creation of engaging materials and content. I integrate interactive quizzes, videos, and group-focused debates to foster active participation and promote an enriching learning environment. Additionally, I provide recommended readings from reputable sources to supplement the topics covered. I firmly believe in delivering teaching of the highest quality that encourages student engagement.
In my recent role, I had the autonomy to create new and innovative materials for lecture presentations and seminar activities. I have experience lecturing large groups sizes (200+ students) and small seminar groups. When developing content, I utilise peer-reviewed journals and textbooks to compose the main lecture content and I use videos (e.g., Panopto or YouTube), interactive software (e.g., Padlet or Mentimeter), demonstrations, and other effective tools to create an enriching experience.
