First class BA hons graduate In Accounting and Finance from the university of Greenwich, previously worked in accounting sector and now extremely keen in a career in teaching Mathematics. Tutoring Experience

PGCE Maths -Currently finished PGCE at UCL IOE after having taught in 2 different state schools in Barking & Dagenham. I Have taught years 7-11, covering all content for KS3 and KS4.

Private tutoring
Private tuition for core subjects at KS1, KS2 and KS3 levels. This included lesson planning and 1 to 1 teaching styles for students of various abilities.

Stepney all saints school - invigilator and support staff
Maintained role of staff member and was responsible of classes up to 30 during exam season. Furthermore, had additional cover supervision role for secondary school and sixth form college sessions. Although this wasn’t teaching experience it gave me exposure into how many students used to learn and work alongside others, occasional shadowing of teachers also gave a greater insight.

GSL education - Supply teaching
Cover supervision for various schools in East London, subjects include Math, English, Economics and Bengali. It was here where I realised the difference in behavior towards the teacher as many students would see a supply teacher and treat the lesson as a free period, however I slowly came to grips with keeping them disciplined and continuing with the work given. I had also worked with SEN students which proved to be a good experience as extra care and support was usually required. It was through supply teaching I gained more confidence in dealing with problematic students in a larger classroom environment.

Weekend school – Maths KS2/3 teaching assistant
Teaching assistant for various ages focusing on KS2 and KS3 Mathematics. I was exposed to more mathematical content during my time here and due to the different level of skill in the class I faced an abundance of different problems to assist students with.

Unwind summer school Senior leadership/Teacher
Organised and helped managed Unwind summer school comprised of 600+ students with other members of Unwind senior management team. Helped support teachers and students to learn educational content and supervised children of various ages.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons involve going through all topics in the exam syllabus, students will be required to know which examining board their school follows, this will enable focus on the content that is required. My expectations will be high, I will prepare students to think outside the box. As the exam date approaches, my main focus will be on past papers to ensure students are entering exams as prepared and confident as can be.

I also hope to be an inspiring role model to the youth by offering additional help when required, my email will be given if students require additional help on any questions.
