Hi! My name is Thavi. I am a well-motivated and dedicated individual here to use my experience and knowledge to help you improve as a student and hopefully aid you in passing those all-important future exams!

My tutoring specialises mainly in Biology and Chemistry (GCSE and A-level) as well as Physics (GCSE). My background includes GCSEs and A levels in all of these subjects, as well as a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and MSc in Physician Associate (PA). I currently have the pleasure of seeing patients as a fully qualified physician associate in 6 GP surgeries across Harrow, and I wish to help students who want to go that extra mile to achieve their grades!

Tutoring Experience

My previous experiences in tutoring include GCSE and A-level Biology and Chemistry, as well as GCSE Physics, which I did during my time in university for 3 students. Now that I have finished my studies, I am looking to take on more students to provide help to elevate their knowledge and understanding of the subject and curriculum.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring style differs from student to student, as I like to tailor my sessions to each student’s needs and preferences. These range from PowerPoints, practicing questions together, visual learning, and consolidation methods to greater enhance the understanding and memory of the content learned in the curriculum. I use the first meeting with my students to gauge this and formulate a structured plan for the sessions to come, ensuring that it meets what the students require.
