One of my greatest strengths is my passion for teaching mathematics. I genuinely enjoy helping students overcome their fears and misconceptions about the subject, and I take great satisfaction in seeing their progress and growth. My enthusiasm for maths is contagious, and I believe it is crucial in inspiring and motivating students to develop a love for the subject.

I am patient, empathetic, and understanding towards my students' struggles, and I am committed to providing them with the necessary support and guidance to help them succeed in their English learning goals. Tutoring Experience

I have over fourteen years of extensive experience teaching Maths and English to students across different age groups and proficiency levels. In Maths, I have taught a wide range of topics including arithmetic, geometry, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. I have helped students build a strong foundation of mathematical concepts through interactive activities, problem-solving exercises, and real-world applications. I have also helped students prepare for standardized tests such as GCSE, SAT, A-Level, ACT, GMAT, and GRE, guiding them through practice exams and targeted review sessions to success.

In English, I have taught reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills to non-native speakers. I have used communicative language teaching, where students actively engaged in meaningful interactions and authentic language use. I have designed and implemented tailored lesson plans that cater to the specific language needs and goals of individual students. Also, I have experience teaching English for specific purposes such as academic writing, business communication, and exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, GCSE, etc.).

Throughout my teaching career, I have prioritized creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to take risks, ask questions, and collaborate with their peers. I am passionate about helping students develop their skills and achieve their academic goals, and I continuously seek to incorporate innovative teaching strategies and techniques to enhance the learning experience.

Tutoring Approach

In both Maths and English subjects, my teaching approach is student-centered and differentiated to meet the diverse needs of learners.

For Maths, I emphasize conceptual understanding through hands-on activities, problem-solving tasks, and real-world applications. I believe in providing scaffolding and multiple representations to support students in grasping mathematical concepts. In addition, I encourage critical thinking and inquiry-based learning to help students develop analytical skills and mathematical reasoning.

In English, I focus on fostering language proficiency across the four skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I incorporate communicative activities, creative writing tasks, and multimedia resources to engage students in meaningful language use. I provide opportunities for language practice and feedback, encouraging students to express themselves confidently and effectively. Moreover, I integrate language skills with content areas to enhance comprehension and language acquisition.
