My journey began during my undergraduate degree in English Literature where my passion from learning flourished. I'm currently Assistant Head teaching Media and English at a high performing secondary school; fourth best school in England where all students gain a grade higher than expected. I am very proud to be a part of this success and thrive in progressing every child to achieve only the best.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 8 years and fully understand the new changes in the new GCSE curriculum. I have a a great passion for the arts and enjoy teaching literature. I specialise in AQA and Edexcel. I am currently a senior leader in an outstanding school.

Tutoring Approach

Independent learning can only be achieved through identifying marginal gains, targeting specific areas of weakness through quality practise. I always set homework which consolidates learning and challenges the student's ability to learn at a rapid pace.
