Kim

I am a native speaking and UK licensed teacher for children and adults. I have a Masters in Law and in Education, Diplomas in Special Education Needs and in teaching English. I also hold qualifications in supporting mental health and child psychology.
I have been teaching and training since 1991 and I moved my teaching practice online in 2015.
I am registered with the DBS online updating service. My safeguarding and Prevent certificates are up to date.

Tutoring Experience

My students are from age 7 to 50+. I teach
English : Key stages 1 and 2, 11+ and school entrance preparations, Key stages 3 and 4, Functional Skills, ESOL, Cambridge Preliminary, Cambridge First, Cambridge Advanced, IELTS, SSATs and Cambridge Business.
Maths : Key stages 1 to 4, Functional Skills.
Law : A level.
I currently work with students
that have an EHCP,
that do not have an EHCP - I can support with this process,
receiving alternative provision due to unmet needs : anxiety, autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia and processing,

Tutoring Approach

Leaving no student behind and teaching the way that students learn is what I do.
I get to know my students, provide tailored materials to engage whilst supporting them to build their confidence, learning, soft skills and to get students to where they want to be.
