Hello everyone, my name is Tanvi! I am a 1st year psychology student at the University of Bath and have achieved 3 A* at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and have achieved all 9s at GCSE. Through first - hand experience, I know, through first hand experience , I know how overwhelming exams can be, and I aim to support you through the following year to help you achieve your goals in a stress - free, empowering learning environment!

Tutoring Experience

have been tutoring students for the past 2 years and have helped students achieve significant improvements in their grades, with all my students getting 9s (A* equivalent) in the subjects I tutored them in ! Having achieved top grades at GCSE and A-Level, I incorporate the revision strategies that I have learnt over the years into my tutoring.

Tutoring Approach

I ensure to make my lessons interactive e.g. using visuals to aid with their learning style. I focus on the importance of retrieval practice and thus ensure to provide starters to consolidate content taught in the previous lesson and provide an array of practice questions during the lesson. Additionally , I heavily focus on the fact that every student is different, thus I tend to tailor my sessions to your goals: the areas you want to work on and the skills you want to develop. Throughout my sessions, I also integrate revision methods and techniques tailored to your learning style, which you can then practice and take away for independent study; I am passionate about sharing the advice and study tips I wish I had when I was going through it myself!
