I am a recent graduate in History of Art from Clare College, Cambridge University. With A*A*A* in History of Art, English, and Music A-levels, along with an A grade in my Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), I have a strong academic background that I bring to my tutoring. Additionally, I have personal experience in what it takes to succeed in Oxbridge applications and can provide up-to-date advice and tailored support to help students navigate these competitive processes successfully.

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive tutoring and teaching experience extending from in school teaching to one on one tutoring across North London. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Highgate School (August 2020-April 2021), I assisted in Key Stage 3 classes in music composition, theory and performance. I currently tutor regular students on a weekly or twice weekly basis in subjects ranging from History of Art A Level, 11+ preparation exams and Music GCSE. I also provide reliable childcare locally.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach is centred on boosting students' confidence to enhance their grades and nurture a genuine passion for learning. Drawing from my experience with Cambridge supervisions, I find that discussion-based learning is an effective method for expanding ideas and developing strong academic opinions. I strive to foster an environment where students not only understand the material but also feel encouraged to ask new questions and dive deeper into their subjects.

To support this, I create a shared document for each student, where I add my notes and resources. For secondary education students, this document serves as a powerful tool to visualise the entire scope of their exam material and refine their note-taking skills, ensuring they are thoroughly prepared. I always prepare in advance for each lesson, and my goal is to make consistent progress every week, maximising the productivity and impact of our sessions.
