Tutoring Experience

I am a certified tutor and have been teaching students for over a year. I have previous mentoring experience, and have developed key skills over the years including strong communication, time-management and teamwork skills. Communication is essential to ensure best practice and improved learning. This functions to strengthen areas of weakness and overcome challenges. Punctuality is key to keep students engaged and to ensure topics are covered in-depth in chronological order. This helps me to keep track of the students progress and measure performance. I have excellent teamwork skills and I can maintain good relationships with students, being a guiding hand in their learning journey.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons will be engaging, interactive and informative.
General structure: introduction to the topic, covering all topics related to the material, and ending with practice questions to consolidate knowledge gained throughout the session. I am organised and punctual, and incorporate in-depth explanations to ensure lessons are fully understood. My lessons are tailored to each student and I will write notes after each session to monitor progress, including topics covered and areas the student feels require further attention.
