I'm a secondary school English teacher and private tutor, who aims to motivate students and provide them with the confidence to approach English independently. I pride myself on being personable and adapting my teaching style to align with students' learning styles.
I am a secondary school English Literature and Language teacher with experience teaching KS3, 4 and English Literature for KS5. I have years of experience which includes making Shakespearen plays accessible, improving essay writing, as well as more generalised assistance with the curriculum.
My approach to tutoring is friendly, calm and patient and personalised. My lessons are structured according to both my tutee's needs a in conjunction with their curriculum. In addition, if required/necessary I will provide extra material for my tutees to take away and make use of in their own time and I also encourage my tutees to contact me outside of our sessions if they need help.
