Good combination of didactic syllabus teaching combined with exam technique.

Your son is doing extremely well. We have been concentrating on the more challenging parts of the A-level syllabus making sure that all the detail is covered and understood and then supplementing the theory with harder past exam questions. I have also been giving advice on how some of these questions should be structured in the exam.

Suzanne has been tutoring my son over the last 5 weeks, so far we and my son are very pleased with the progress he is making.

Suzanne is very organised and comes to the lesson prepared, the lessons are structured and delivered well any topics which he is not certain of is explained until he understands, he also feels that he is able to ask questions when unsure. My son is enjoying the lessons and has no hesitation, which is a big plus!

I am very pleased with how your son is doing. He is improving steadily and making really great progress. We have been concentrating on addressing topics that he felt that he didn’t understand in year 12. We go through the topic looking especially at any misconceptions and then I set homework on the topic and use it to make sure that he now understands. After we have done this we will then move onto the year 13 topics and we will again revise any that need to be and as well as that I will be teaching new topics so that he feels prepared in class. An excellent start has been made!

Your son is an excellent student. We started going through topics that he found he needed more consolidation on or was dropping marks on in questions. Now those have been completed we have moved on to looking at past papers. He does a past paper for homework and then sends me it for marking. In the lesson we concentrate on the parts that he found difficult and I revise through any concepts that we feel he needs more help on after answering questions on the paper. I can already see an improvement in marks and grade achieved. Well done!

Suzanne is a wonderful teacher. She is very experienced and professional. She can spot the student weaknesses and correct them. She keeps teenager students interested in chemistry and push them into working hard. My son used to have grade c in chemistry before starting with Suzanne and used to hate the subject. After his tutoring, he found chemistry easy and achieved a comfortable A* in his gcse. I strongly recommend Suzanne, in fact my second son has started tuition with Suzanne this year. Mo started with me at the beginning of Year 11 and worked really hard throughout the year. He practiced as many past questions as possible and went on to do all of the past papers which I marked and gave feedback on.
His confidence grew as he improved his marks and he could see where he went wrong. Mo went on to achieve a high A* grade in the actual GCSE exam which he deserved. Good luck Mo now in your A-level studies.
