I am a Science teacher with leadership responsibilities in a school with sixth form provision. I have 20 years experience as a practitioner and an examiner. I have developed excellent subject knowledge and expertise in exam preparation.

Tutoring Experience

I have successfully led Science departments and have experience of teaching all exam boards at both GCSE and A’Level Chemistry and Biology. Over the last 12 years I have been an examiner for GCSE Science and A’Level. During my time as a tutor I have adapted my teaching style to ensure my methods are current, engaging and supportive.

I quickly recognise individual needs and personalise the learning. I am understanding and show compassion and empathy when students demonstrate struggles. My experience and supporting nature has ensured all students under my guidance succeed and reach their goals.
