Hi there! I'm Sulaiman Removed, a highly motivated MPhil student at the prestigious University of Cambridge, where I'm pursuing Industrial Systems Manufacturing and Management. I feel incredibly honored to be one of only three recipients of the esteemed Cambridge Trust and Churchill Bill Brown fully funded MPhil Scholarship, which covers all my fees and living expenses. Additionally, I'm thrilled to have been chosen as one of the 44 recipients of the Royal Academy of Engineering's Engineering Leaders Scholarship for 2022, a recognition that fuels my passion for inspiring the next generation of engineers.
With my academic achievements, tutoring experience, and passion for teaching, I'm committed to helping students reach their full potential and become the next generation of accomplished engineers. Let's embark on a rewarding learning journey together! Feel free to get in touch with me to discuss your tutoring needs.
With a passion for education and over four years of professional tutoring experience, I have had the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys. My teaching journey began at New London Educational Trust in 2019, where I provided extra support to STEM students to consolidate their learning at school. I am confident in my ability to create an engaging, student-centered learning environment. I aim to instill self-assurance in my students by combining innovative teaching techniques with plenty of individual support and encouragement.
During my General Engineering studies at King's College London, where I graduated with a First Class Honours degree, I served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. I worked alongside university lecturers to deliver high-quality teaching activities, including seminars, classes, tutorials, lab sessions, paper marking, and mentoring support for undergraduate project work. I also provided demonstrations for laboratory experiments and techniques in science and computing.
I am experience in teaching a range of international curriculums, including IGCSE and O Level, as well as university-level Calculus 1, 2, and 3. Moreover, I have established a robust online platform that enables me to effectively teach students from abroad.
To ensure success in exams, I closely adhere to the exam specifications provided by the relevant exam board. I first assess each student's level of understanding and then create a personalized learning plan. Breaking down exam requirements systematically, I ensure learners have a clear roadmap to overcome challenges. I also spend time practicing exam technique, as according to National Institution of Health, 40% of times students misread information under exam pressure.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs. I am happy to provide supplementary homework to reinforce our lessons and have a 24-hour cancellation policy. I look forward to working together!
