Information About Stephanie - Redhill tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Stephanie:
English (Foreign Language)
I am an enthusiastic, patient and engaging primary teacher with experience teaching in the Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I am familiar with the new National Curriculum for all primary ages and I am currently working in a school which has been rated outstanding by Ofsted.
If you feel your child could benefit from one to one tuition from a qualified teacher then I am here to help. I can support your child by developing their confidence and skills with writing, reading, maths, phonics or any other subject in the primary curriculum. I am also able to help by supporting your child with their homework or listening to them read. Additionally, I can help in challenging your child and supporting them to reach the next level of their learning in maths, reading, writing, etc. I can also help by supporting a pre-school child before they begin school in September.
I also have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification and have experience of teaching abroad so can also support the learning of English, including speaking, reading and writing skills, to both children and adults.
I have been tutoring alongside working as a teacher for 2 years and I ensure that all my sessions are tailored to the specific needs to the child or adult I am working with. I have my own car so can travel locally within Sutton, Croydon, Epsom and surrounding areas and I bring my own resources. I am also able and happy to discuss with parents ways in which you can support your child at home
I am a friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher who strives to build a good rapport with every one of my students in order for them to progress with their learning. I strongly believe that every student is an individual and will tailor each session to the needs, strengths and interests of every student I tutor. I have a genuine enthusiasm for learning and aspire to share this with my students by being a positive role model. I also aim to create fun, engaging and stimulating sessions where students feel motivated to achieve. I will ensure that all my sessions are personalised and well resourced in order for you or your child to achieve. I will also work with parent and school reports to help identify next steps for your or your child's learning to support further progress. I am also happy to discuss ways in which you can support your own or your child's learning at home.
