I am a qualified teacher of science. I have several years of teaching experience as a science teacher, cover supervisor and teaching assistant in mainstream, alternative provision, SEND, primary, secondary and further education establishments.

I have experience of creating creative lessons to inspire pupils of all abilities. I have also taught in a number of SEND schools.

I am trained in adapting resources for pupils with additional needs such as dyslexia. I have experience of delivering 1-to-1 workshops and writing learning materials in an accessible manner. I have a good understanding of pedagogical issues and experience of teaching PSHE to years 6 to 11.

I have an enhanced DBS on the update service.

Tutoring Experience

 Experienced in teaching A-Level Biology and Chemistry.
 Strong science background with a BSc in Applied and Human Biology and a PGDIP in Food Safety within Chemical Engineering.

I focus on building confidence and understanding through clear explanations, interactive activities, and real-world examples. Patience and adaptability are key to my teaching, ensuring students feel supported and motivated to achieve their best. I aim to create a positive and engaging learning environment, whether one-to-one or in small groups.
