Hi, my name is Steffi Removed
I am a teacher at Itchen sixth form.
I currently teach both maths gcse and a level.
I’m a friendly and approachable person that most students seem to get in well with.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 6 years. I worked at a secondary school for three years teaching mostly maths gcse. Here I became very familiar with the new gcse for both foundation and higher papers.
I now teach at a sixth form college where I teach both gcse and a level maths.

Tutoring Approach

I firstly like to work on a learners mathematical confidence, as I believe this is the key to most students issues with maths. I also like to create an environment where students aren’t afraid to try and get things wrong and therefore learn from their mistakes.
I normally plan sessions around subjects learners have identified as ones in which they are struggling, or where I have identified.
I like to plan session mainly around exam content as again this is where a lot of students can fall down, and practice can help this.
