I teach at a secondary school 11-16 across Key Stage 3 & 4. I also cover KS2 and 5. I have over ten years classroom experience working with students of all abilities. Other roles I have had include literacy coordinator, trainee mentor and head of house.
Following a career as a cameraman, I found my calling as a teacher.
Ten years ago, in conjunction with Reading University and a school in Hampshire, I qualified as an English teacher. Since then, my wife and I relocated to Norfolk. I still work full time at a lovely Norfolk secondary school. Thanks to the remote learning revolution that came out of the recent pandemic, I am in a position to offer my services as an English tutor.

Over ten years teaching in a Norfolk secondary school, at which I still work full time. This followed training at a school in Hampshire.
I'm all about creating a relaxed, positive atmosphere in which students can thrive. Of course, hard work and resilience are needed but I find most pupils underestimate their ability so I feel it is my job to encourage their development and celebrate their successes. I try to harness the passion I have for language and literature from which pupils can benefit.
