I am a 19 year old Computer Science and Mathematics student at the University of Manchester (I am London-based outside of term time). In 2022 I graduated from King's College London with A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics, achieving A*A*A*.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience assisting students in mathematics and science related subjects ranging from pre-GCSE to A-Level. I understand many of the difficulties faced by students who are attempting these qualifications and understand how to adjust their learning approach to most effectively increase their working grade.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is to apply "learning by doing" to reinforce techniques learnt in theory so that they can be used in practice. When studying for exams many students could benefit from more rigorous, productive techniques in practicing. Typically I would recommend a student to bring past paper attempts to a session and we would walk through their paper, identifying areas that could be improved. However, this can only happen once the student is confident in their knowledge, which I can also assist in. After all, it is only once they have a foundation of knowledge of the syllabus that they can begin to cement their skills surrounding each topic. I possess a comprehensive understanding of the content of these qualifications, and aspire to aid students in patching up gaps in their knowledge.
