My name is Sonia Aslam and I live in Ilford, UK. I completed masters in physics from highly ranked institution (University of the Punjab, Lahore) in Pakistan and awarded with gold medal being higher achiever in my batch. Also I got distinction in BS physics from the University of Gujrat, Pakistan.

Tutoring Experience

I started working as a science teacher with a physics and mathematics specialism in 2015. I have 5 years of working experience as a senior lecturer in physics at University of Sialkot, Pakistan. I have had several management roles in this time: Associate head of Physics, Students advisor, secretary of curriculum and research review committees and member of science club. I supervised more than 40 science projects and postal presentations.

Tutoring Approach

Since becoming a teacher I have always had a positive impact on my students and have been able to help them achieve their goals. The teaching experience taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ needs. I have been tutoring in Physics and Math, in person and online; the hybrid model has allowed me to reach out and teach students. I have successful students from these last seven years who have not only commended my work ethic but can also stand testament to my enthusiasm.
