Online Maths and English Tutor

Hi there! My name is Sonia Removedand I am a researcher and qualified Medical Scientist that studied and trained through the University of Edinburgh. I am currently a researcher and working on a project to gain my Phd in the UoE School of Chemistry in drug and smart-probe design for the removal of brain tumours.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored 98 students and helped them in passing their SQA National 5s, Highers or Advanced Highers.

Tutoring Approach

Having gone through the Scottish SQA system, I understand the assessment types and the style of exams and exam questions. I also understand classroom teaching isn't always effective and that some concepts can be difficult to grasp first time round. By explaining these concepts in simple and understandable terms that helped me when studying from my SQA and university exams, I believe my style of tutoring can help students become comfortable with their course content and help them pass their exams.
