I am currently studying Maths at the University of Birmingham. I have achieved A levels in Maths (A*), Further Maths (A) and Physics (B). I have achieved a 9 in my Maths GCSE, an A in my Statistics GCSE and a FSMQ Additional Maths (A).

Tutoring Experience

I was the Maths Subject Captain in Sixth Form and this role has allowed me to take leadership and become more organised. In addition, I did one to one numeracy with students at school which has allowed me to develop my critical thinking skills and teach in a systematic way.

Tutoring Approach

I will start off by teaching the foundations as it is essential to be able to get the highest marks. I will then build on this by using exam questions as the key to getting the top marks in maths is to practise as much as possible. I am very patient and will find other ways to explain and approach questions and concepts.
