I am an experienced classroom teacher with an approachable and understanding ethos. I thoroughly enjoy discussing the Sciences with students, particularly Chemistry, and I believe this clearly shows in my lessons.
Throughout my teaching career I have aided hundreds of students in their learning and I am proud of what they achieve.

Tutoring Experience

I have ten year's experience teaching Science at UK Secondary Schools, with a speciality in Chemistry. This has given me a superb understanding of how to progress students' knowledge and understanding, and an acute awareness of the areas of the syllabus that require particular focus and intervention to achieve the students' full academic potential.

Tutoring Approach

All sessions will be tailored to suit the students' needs at any particular time in their learning; whether that be by preparation for upcoming lessons, a more in depth consolidation of current learning, or exam and test preparation and practice.
I am very aware that all students will learn at a different pace and will have areas in which they naturally excel and others in which they will need more assistance. This understanding means that I am able to adapt my tuition to their abilities to ensure progress is made in each session.
I will always supply further study materials to help with the consolidation of each session and will provide timely feedback and guidance to bolster the students' development and dispel any misconceptions that may arise.
