Silvio

My name is Silvio Bartoli, I am a pianist and a composer.
I moved to London one month ago. I am currently enrolling the MComp at Royal College of Music and I am very passionate about music and art in general. I won several composition competitions in Italy and around the world.

Tutoring Experience

I have 5 years of experience in teaching; I taught pupils in Italy of different ages, from 6 years old to elder people. Nowadays I am teaching here in London pupils from 4 to 20 in two different schools.

Tutoring Approach

I tend to mix piano teaching and composition in order to give pupils a better musical acknowledge and to let them improve their skills. With the youngest I use to approach music as a game, even trying to insert some contemporary music features (such as clusters) in order to open their mind since the beginning.
