My name is Silvia Bortoletto, a native Italian speaker with a passion for foreign languages. I have recently been awarded the Cambrige CELTA, a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. The certificate effectively enables me to teach English as a foreign language. I am therefore looking to find opportunities to teach online or on one-on-one sessions.

Tutoring Experience

I am new to this world but willing to challenge myself and to finally be doing what I'm meant to be doing: teaching!
Having just finished the demanding CELTA course, I have a clear idea of how a lesson should progress, having in mind the student's needs, interests and motivation.

Tutoring Approach

I like to immediately establish a good rapport with the students, investigating why they want to study English and verifying their proficiency level.
The next step is to prepare an "action plan" so that students know what they will learn and the techniques and approach used.
