Finished my pharmacy degree at King's College London and have had previous experience tutoring GCSE Maths to students from underrepresented backgrounds, which was the driving force to continue tutoring. Furthermore, I am currently Removed United tutor coming up to a year now, tutoring students in Maths and English.

Tutoring Experience

I have up-to-date knowledge around the GCSE Maths curriculum and syllabus, given the fact that I was the first cohort who sat the new GCSE Maths exams. Therefore, I believe along with my previous experience as a Maths tutor, students will be equipped with the skills needed to successfully overcome the demands of the new GCSE curriculum.

Tutoring Approach

I ensure to tailor teaching towards the needs of each pupil by building upon their understanding and developing their problem-solving skills. I make sure to test the understanding of each student through 'test your understanding' style questions during the lesson. I also encourage any questions and concerns around topics, which I help students tackle with by providing 'homework' at the end or collate those topics to be used as starter questions for recap and practice.
