I am fully qualified (PGCE and MSc. in Psychology) experienced teacher of Psychology at A level and GCSE. I teach most of my students remotely via Zoom, but also have some face to face tutees who live near my home in Newcastle.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching A level Psychology since 1996, with a break to have and bring up children. Over the last four years I have combined maternity cover work in schools and sixth form centres (including the prestigious Royal Grammar School Newcastle) with tutoring, both online and in person and have taught the AQA, Edexcel and OCR specifications. I have also been a recent examiner for the AQA.

Tutoring Approach

I’m very much driven by what works best for each individual student, though all of my teaching is interactive. I teach to each specification with the goal of improving content knowledge and honing exam technique to ensure my students achieve the best grades possible for their ability level.
