I am a qualified Science teacher with a PGCE and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology. Alongside classroom teaching, I’ve also supported underprivileged students as a volunteer tutor and mentor via an NGO, KOA Education Foundation— a role that reflects my passion for helping others grow. I specialise in teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and I’m known for breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable ideas that students can confidently understand and apply.
I’ve taught Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, working with students of all abilities — from those who need extra support to those aiming for top grades. I’ve also supported learners preparing for GCSEs, SATs, and entrance exams. In addition, I have experience teaching students with special educational needs in inclusive classroom settings and one-on-one.
My lessons are student-centred, practical, and flexible. I take time to understand each student’s learning style, build confidence, and simplify complex topics through relatable examples. I focus on developing exam techniques, revising effectively, and encouraging curiosity. Every session is a safe space to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.
