Currently studying Mathematics at University College London, I achieved an A* A* A in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at A-level. With a solid understanding of the subject and firsthand experience of what it takes to excel, I’m well-equipped to help students reach their full potential. I’ve also taken part in competitions like the UKMT Maths Challenge and bring a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking to every lesson.

Tutoring Experience

I’m familiar with both the AQA and Edexcel A-level Maths specifications, including how topics are structured and what examiners expect in student responses. This allows me to tailor lessons to the specific demands of each board. I’ve supported peers and younger students by breaking down difficult concepts into simpler, step-by-step explanations, helping them gain confidence and improve their problem-solving skills. I always aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively engaging with the material.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are typically one hour long and are structured to balance clear explanations with plenty of active practice. I guide students through examples step by step, then give them the chance to apply what they've learned through practice questions, helping to reinforce understanding and build confidence. I encourage questions throughout and always adapt the pace to suit the student. Outside of lessons, students are welcome to contact me with any questions - I’m happy to help wherever I can.
