Teaching comes natural to me, as I have the ability to relate to kids very effectively. This helps build very conducive relationships and it helps motivate students to do better in tutor sessions and the school environment. I tailor the learning according to every student needs in tutoring sessions to help get the most out of each and every session. Continuous tutor sessions help students improve their educational experience as well as academic results.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified teacher and have been teaching for over 15 years. I have a great deal of experience in teaching students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. I have taught English and Maths at Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 and ICT and Business Studies to A-Level standard.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that due to such large class sizes and little class time for certain subjects in this country, it is harder for students to excel to their potential. It is therefore incredibly difficult for Teachers to attend to every students need in the classroom. Hence there is often little 1-2-1 time between a student and Teacher. This is where tutoring helps bridge the gap of the 1-2-1 time required for students to really progress the best they can. The lack of differentiation in most classrooms is also a major issue these days, and students that find the work too easy or too difficult are often overlooked and so they do not progress to their potential. Tutoring provides invaluable 1-2-1 time with students and allows the Tutor to personalise the learning for each students needs, to get the best possible results without the distractions of a typical classroom.
