English, Reading and Mathematics KS1 Tutor

I have over 12 years teaching experience in the primary education sector, ranging from nursery practitioner through to Head of Key Stage 1.

My extensive knowledge of Key Stage 1 curriculum allows me to confidently support children in year 1 and 2 with English and Mathematics.

Tutoring Experience

I have been fortunate to hold the position of Literacy Head of Department, Key Stage 1 Team Leader and Phonics Leader. This has meant I also support children in upper primary ( Key Stage 2) that may require extra support in English.

Tutoring Approach

My aim is to help children be “the best they can be”, by offering an enthusiastic and engaging environment that also allows children to feel a sense of achievement and satisfaction. I believe my considerable experience and variety of teaching strategies allow me to quickly have a positive impact on the children’s’ development as a whole.
