I offer tailored tuition in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, supporting students from KS3 to A-level. Tutoring Experience

1st Class BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science – University of Greenwich, 2015.
MSc in Medical Microbiology – Completed in 2020
I achieved 10 GCSEs (grades A–C), including an A* in Maths and Biology, B in Chemistry, B in Physics, and A in both English Literature and Language. I went on to complete 3 A-Levels, earning an A in Biology, and Bs in Maths and Chemistry.

Former Junior Scientific Officer at the Animal and Plant Health Agency ; diagnostic test operator and research assistant

From my school days, I naturally found myself supporting classmates who were struggling to keep up in lessons. Whether it was explaining how to balance equations in Chemistry, simplifying complex processes in Biology, or helping friends build confidence in Maths, I enjoyed helping others grasp what they were struggling to understand. One student I supported went from scraping passes in class tests to securing a solid B in their final exam—a real boost for their self-esteem and motivation.

Over time, I’ve developed a feel for how each student learns best. Some need step-by-step breakdowns, others benefit from visual aids or analogies, and some just need someone patient enough to go over the basics without judgement. I tailor every session to suit the individual.

I also offer group lessons in spoken Hindi, Urdu and Bengali (Dhaka dialect) over a 3 hour session on Saturdays. These group sessions are specifically intended for those who find communicating in English challenging and need lesson contents to be taught in their spoken mother tongue particularly Urdu, Hindi and Bengali (Dhaka dialect). Tutoring Approach

I am an approachable and friendly tutor who teaches with patience, humour, and warmth. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions—no matter how small they may seem. Many of my tutees have told me they finally feel “safe to not know something” in our lessons, which I believe is key to genuine learning.

I am deeply passionate about teaching and genuinely love helping others grow. For me, it’s not just about ticking off chapters/exam papers—I go the extra mile to make sure each student really understands the content and feels confident in applying their knowledge. I treat every child as an individual, adapting my methods to suit their learning style, pace, and goals.

When it comes to explaining tricky topics—like organic chemistry, physics equations, or tricky maths problems—I break things down simply and clearly, helping students recognise key concepts and apply them in exam scenarios. I help students not only learn the material but think like examiners so they feel confident tackling exam-style questions.

My lessons are interactive and engaging. I use a variety of visual aids such as spider diagrams, flowcharts, sketches, videos, mini quizzes, and even interactive apps and learning platforms on my laptop to bring the subject to life. This not only helps with understanding but also boosts memory and retrieval during assessments.
