Shanae

My names Shanae and I recently finished the sixth form. Having studied Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry at a level, I chose to go into STEM so that I can study radiography at university. I would describe myself as a fun and knowledgeable tutor. I am very flexible and patient with the time I spend with students so that I can cater to their individual needs. In my A levels I have achieved A in Psychology, B in Chemistry and B in Biology.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for a year now, with students in secondary. I chose to tutor biology, chemistry and psychology because they are the subjects I enjoyed the most. The previous students that I tutored enjoyed the different techniques of studying such as quizzes and mind maps. I was also able to introduce them to websites and resources that they can use themselves to help their studying.

Tutoring Approach

I recently finished sixth form and have achieved the results I wanted due to my various ways of studying. The best way to achieve high grades is to study the content and also understand the exam technique and how the questions are phrased so that you can answer correctly. I tutor based on areas that the student specifically finds challenging this way we can strengthen them to build a strong foundation.
