I am a very determined person who’s able to communicate effectively with others in order to aid them with their work. As I’m currently studying A level chemistry, biology and psychology I would consider myself a very organised and hard working person as those subjects are very content heavy and require a lot of extra time put into them in order to get a successful outcome.
I have done teaching as a work experience during year 12 where I was given the role to plan and teach maths lessons to students from years 3 to years 6. I enjoyed it very much as the children were very enthusiastic and I was able to help them with anything they were struggling on.
My teaching approach is to first go over any content that they might need to know/memorise for example show them how to work out an equation and which formula to use. Then I would go through some example questions with them in order for them to visualise how they would actually work out that equation/question. Then I would give them a set of questions for them to try themselves and print them with hints if they’re struggling.
