I have been tutoring students of ages 6-17 for four years, with a particular specialism with neurodivergent (autistic/adhd) students in particular
I emphasise meeting students where they are and, especially when I work with neurodivergent students, relating content knowledge to their personal interests to help facilitate greater understanding. I also focus particularly on exam techniques and essay writing skills as often students have a solid understanding of the content but struggle with assessments for a variety of reasons I can help with.
